Pastoral Care

The term ‘Pastoral Care’ is taken from the model of Jesus as Pastor, and is the philosophy behind this policy. The policy aims to:

  • develop a well integrated person, with Jesus as model
  • provide support and opportunities for individuals to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually in a safe environment
  • encourage students to develop a spirit which recognises and adopts self discipline and personal responsibility
  • to respond in a sympathetic manner to concerns of school members

Pastoral Care at Holy Trinity School aims to provide a caring educational environment where positive relationships are developed and where each student is known and cared for as an individual.

Our students are guided in making responsible personal decisions through living out the Gospel values of the School. They are encouraged to develop a positive and optimistic outlook and strategies to deal with the ups and downs of life.
