Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council is a very active student group whose members have been elected by both students and staff.
Years 7 and 8 students hold office for 1 semester, while Years 9 and 10 students hold their position for the entire year.
The Saint Vincent de Paul executive are also members of the SRC, taking total membership to 21.
The SRC contributes a great deal to the smooth running of many the major events on the school calendar. Arguably the most important role performed by any member, however, is to provide a positive role model for peers!
Some of the many activities the SRC engage in include:
- School Fundraising
- Fundraising for various charities
- Cooking and serving on the barbeque at school carnivals
- Helping to run school socials
- Making suggestions to the uniform committee
- Advertising events
- Helping at the Easter Fair
- Helping out at Speech Night
Some of the many items purchased in recent years, by our very active SRC, for the benefit of the school community, include:
- Audio visual projection screen
- Tsunami appeal donation
- A number of first aid kits for the school
- Cricket kits for both boys and girls cricket
- Repair of high jump pads
- Girls touch football tops
- PDHPE sports equipment
- Horse sports equipment
- Contribution to school cricket nets
- Science equipment
- Maths resources
- English resources
- Music resources
- Agriculture resources
